I love the symbolic meaning behind the beautiful quatrefoil alhambra shape. Appreciated for centuries by many cultures around the world, it can be seen used in architecture, art and design. It symbolises good luck and often takes on talisman like character when applied in jewellery.
Each pair of these beautiful Good Luck Alhambra Earrings is individually handmade. It takes 10 hours to finish a pair. Textured and riveted motifs add detail and bring out their slight Medieval look.
The ear wires are made from Argentium sterling silver, renown for its hypoallergenic property and so suitable for those people who cannot wear traditional sterling silver.
The lapis lazuli stones are purchased from a reputable gemstone dealer based in Hatton Garden, the famous jewellers' quarter in London. Metals used here are: recycled sterling silver 925, Argentium silver 935 and copper sourced responsibly from UK based suppliers.
Measurements are: each quatrefoil flower is 2.5 x 2.3cm. The earring drop is 3.4cm. The flower sits just below the earlobe. Lapis lazuli cabochons measure 6mm in diameter. The earrings come with silicone safety backs for extra security.

The earrings will arrive in a lovely box as well as an anti tarnish bag and a velvet pouch.
All packaging materials used for postage are recyclable while the branded box, the pouch and the anti-tarnish bag are designed to be kept for life, like my jewellery!
